7 Days Program Socotra Island

DAY .1  – Arrival Sana`a .

Receiving you at Sana'a airport then transfer to  5* hotel , than  city tour in the old city of Sana'a. Dinner in a local fish restaurant over night in 5* hotel.

DAY.2- Sana’a– Hadibo ( Socotra Island ).

Early flight by Yemenia Sana’a – Socotra, Arrival Socotra at 08:00, transfer to the hotel, having a rest for one hours and driving to visit Deleisha coast which consists of pristine white sand, relaxing swimming both in the sea and also in a freshwater lagoon, all with a beautiful mountainous background. and back to Hadibo for lunch, afternoon excursion to Wadi Ayhaf visit and back to Hadibo, Dinner and Overnight at   hotel in Hadibo.

DAY.3- Hadibo – Qalansiya – Shiab – Detwah.

Departure early morning toward Qalansiya. Excursion by boat to Shuab area to see the dolphins playing and swim in near a very pure and clean long sandy beach, once arrive Shuab area we can have a look on the mangrove area. Be sure to look out for Spinner Dolphins along the way. Cormorants also frequent the area. Having lunch pic-nic in Shuab In afternoon we take the boat ride back to Qalansyia. Then we go to the protected area of Detwah lagoon, which is renowned for its spectacular landscape. Sting rays can be seen in the lagoon, dinner and Overnight Camping.

DAY.4- Detwah – Diksum – Wadi Derhor – Nawjad.

After breakfast, we drive to Diksum plateau and Shebahon viewpoint. This area is renowned for the native Dragon Blood trees, the resin of which is collected, used and traded by the people of Socotra. The area is also home to the endemic and rare Socotra Bunting (estimated at 1,000 pairs). The Shebahon viewpoint gives a fabulous vista overlooking Derhor canyon where we will see unusual yet beautiful rock formations. We will then make our way down to the Wadi Derhor in the canyon for lunch and an easy-going walk and possibility also to swim in the freshwater pools in the wadi. Then drive toward the South to Nawjad with stop in Abatiroh to see the dunes. Dinner and Overnight camping in Aomak beach.

DAY.5- Nawjad – Dihamri.

In the morning visit Aomak Cave, then return toward Dihamri via Hadibo, lunch in the way,Afternoon

Snow cling  and swimming  in Dihamri, where you can find diving centre Dinner and Overnight Camping in the Ecotourism camp.

 DAY.6- Dihamri – Hadibo Airport – Sana’a.

Transfer to Socotra airport and flight back to Sana’a, Receiving you at Sana'a airport then transfer to 5* hotel ,

DAY.7-  Sana`a – Departure.
